IT’S MID-MARCH Here in the northeast, we’re at that point in March juuust before the first warm days arrive and everything bursts into that riot of blossoms and smells and color (I know, I can’t wait either) I FOUND THIS BRANCH I found this branch on the cold hard ground the other day on my […]

Quarantined along with the rest of the world, John and I were able to enjoy a quiet little Easter at home.  We began the day with online church service, singing songs of praise and joy.  Afterwards, despite the urge to lay around and take naps all day, I prepared the Easter feast: pork loin stuffed […]

Happy birthday to me! It’s been a heck of a year. We sold our ‘special needs’ home after ten years of painstaking restoration, moved into an apartment and SUDDENLY we got our lives back. We hosted a few family and friends at our place this year.  Its been a long time since we threw a PARTY of any sort and I’ve really missed it.  All in all a warm and delicious day.

Here are some scenes from the double baby shower that Laurie and I threw for our dear friends Leena and Susan two weeks ago.  Leena and Susan are sisters-in-law and share the same due date month of March, however, Leena’s baby boy came early, just two days ago!

Here are some shots from last month’s trip to Bedford Springs PA.  I made a little card for John and wrapped it up in a box to give as his Christmas gift.  We are huge fans of the winter weekend getaway.  I had read about this hotel in Martha Stewart Living and knew we had […]
