6% PA sales tax is additional and applied to all wedding packages.
No, however, if your wedding or engagement session is downtown, city parking may be billed, if applicable.
Also, I kindly ask couples to arrange for a hot meal to be provided for my assistant and myself during the wedding reception. I know this can be an extra cost, however, it is so greatly appreciated.
You may have stumbled upon the one weirdo-photographer in Philadelphia to answer no to this question.
My clients deserve my best self. I have found over the years that I show up my best to a wedding after having had a great night’s sleep in my very own bed.
For this reason, I generally prefer to stick within a 1.5 hour radius of Philadelphia.
Your full gallery will be live within 4-6 week of your wedding. Sometimes during busy season (spring & fall) that might extend to 8 weeks, but never later.
Yes! I like to post a handful of faves to IG stories within a week of your wedding. The blog post with my additional favorites will be posted around 3 weeks after the wedding.
If there are any particular shots you are really excited to see, just let me know and I’ll be sure to include those in the sneaks.
The total number of images in your gallery will vary a bit depending on the flow of your day, the number of guests and the travel time between locations.
As a general rule, you will receive between 60-80 images for each hour of coverage.
That comes out to about 600-700 images for a typical 9-10 hour day. I find that more than 700 images starts to get a little overwhelming for most people.
Are we ‘locked in’ to a certain number of hours? What happens if our reception runs late or we need you to stay a little longer?
No problem. Let’s say your dinner hour runs late, or there are a bunch of spontaneous toasts which pushes your cake cutting back a half hour.
If you need us to stay longer, the standard hourly rate would apply, which is $250 per hour and can be charged by the half hour if needed.
Yes, that’s my job! I know that being in front of the camera can be really uncomfortable (I’m looking at YOU, groom). But don’t worry, I have tricks & strategies to help make the process much less painful and actually enjoyable for both of you.
Absolutely! Shoot me an inquiry and I’ll send a few full galleries that match your style and possibly your venue.
It’s always a good idea to check out a few full galleries. This will give you a good idea of a photographer’s style and consistency of coverage throughout the day.
An important question. Although I have not missed a wedding once in 20 years, there is always the possibility of an emergency and for this reason I like to be prepared.
The short answer is: I got you covered. For the long answer, shoot me an inquiry and I’ll send you an outline of my multi-step strategy that I have in place to make sure you are well covered in all situations.
You guys, let’s just be real: there are a ton of amazingly talented photographers out there.
But at the end of the day, the time you have scheduled for photos with your photographer is, more often than not, the single most important factor in whether or not they are able to deliver on their talent.
Generally speaking, you will get back in great photos what your photographer is given in time.
But there are so many different factors & scenarios that can potentially throw off your timeline, causing you stress and anxiety, not to mention rushed photos.
I like to be proactive, preemptive and strategic in order to prevent most -if not all- of these undesirable situations, and so you can get the absolute best out of your investment in the photography.
I can’t stress enough how important proper planning is to the quality of your photos and, more importantly, to your overall experience of the day.
