John and I celebrated seven years last month! Our original plan was to go to the shore for the weekend, but with our hectic work schedules we decided to stick around town. Sometimes a staycation is just as relaxing, minus the long drive or plane ride to some place exotic. We took the afternoon and wandered around the quaint town of Newtown PA with absolutely no agenda.
John got us these binoculars at REI for our Italy trip in June and we’ve been carrying them around ever since. They are great for bird watching and just general life watching.
first stop was the Newtown Friends Meetinghouse, circa 1817

our day ended with a delicious seafood dinner at the Washington Crossing Inn. All in all a great day.
