daylen + david / chester county wedding

This was a fun one.  Daylen and Dave have a very easy-breezy casual air about them, which I love.  Their prep and reception were at one of my favorite venues, Radnor Hunt, an old Chester County farmstead and oldest operating fox hunt in the United States.  After their First Look and pictures around the property, we dashed off to the Downingtown Friends Meetinghouse for their 2pm Quaker ceremony.  Though I wasn’t permitted to take pictures inside the meetinghouse during the actual ceremony,  I was able to sneak a few shots through the front door keyhole.

Highlights for me included the following:

1. the coolest ‘groom details’ ever, consisting of beautiful silver and turquoise jewelry belonging to David’s late grandfather

2. visiting the horses in the stables with Daylen and Dave at sunset

3. their awkward-in-the-best-way-possible first dance.  I couldn’t stop laughing, and neither could anyone else

    Annie,

These pictures are wonderful! I especially love the picture through the keyhole of Daylen and Dave as they sat in the meetinghouse, waiting to take their vows. You did an excellent job, and you are a top-notch photographer!
