Thanksgiving was a delicious blur of food, friends and family.  Here are the pumpkin whoopie pies I made (and devoured) over the weekend.

Now that the power is back on after Sandy it feels good to be up and running again.  Here are some  Halloween scenes from our friend Kurt & Kara’s house in Mt Airy.

Last year’s early thanksgiving was quite enjoyable, however, this year’s early thanksgiving was tons of fun.  We had more folks join us, more hands to help with the cooking and a gorgeous setting of Ravi’s secluded haven in the Hamptons.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon picking apples & peaches in various orchards around Buck’s County.  John came up with the idea earlier this week and he did not have to ask me twice!  The warm sun, cool breeze and stunning views added up to the perfect day.

Just got home from an amazing trip through Switzerland and Italy.  Here is a shot of the Grand Canal in Venice, hands-down the most magical city I have ever visited!
