paper crafts / hand made note cards

I’ve been really into playing with paper lately.  One idea I had been toying with was to put together little handmade note card + matching envelope sets, each with their own theme, to give as gifts to friends over the holidays.  One set I made from an old seventies children’s book that I got at the thrift store for 35 cents.  Another set was made from a beautiful $4 book of world maps, another from lace-prints (mine did not come out as great as Martha’s).  The possibilities are endless.

I gave the gifts with little packets of stamps and a print-out explaining the pleasures of sending hand-written notes.
