Bartram’s Garden Philadelphia Engagement Session / Emily & Eric

When I first have a call or video chat with a prospective couple, I take a large amount of notes.  I want to know as much as possible in that small window of time we have together.  Where they met, what they like to do on the weekends, that sort of thing.

Here’s a little secret: at the end of the call, I’ll write a little note at the top in a circle to remind myself of the general positive impression or ‘feeling’ that I got from a person or couple, so I can remember it down the line.

They’re so cute and laugh-y was what I wrote at the top of Emily & Eric’s file.  And they were EXACTLY that from the first second I met with them in person at their E-session a few weeks ago.  Maybe a little more so, since nerves can be a little high at the beginning of a shoot.

Emily, I had the best time chatting with you about outfits! And Eric, you were awesome – so patient and accommodating (and adorable in your Eagles hat if I do say so myself).  Hope you guys enjoy these highlights.  I am so excited for the wedding in April!
