family session / Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania

My family sessions have been so much fun this year.  Mostly because a) my clients are seriously awesome and b) I’ve been discovering some new locations, and this keep things interesting from an artistic standpoint.  Yes, the old standbys are great, Curtis Arboretum, Bartram’s Garden – you can’t go wrong with these spots. But lately I have been branching out, trying some new spots and its been really refreshing.  Here we are at Harriton House, an old farmstead in Bryn Mawr.  It wasn’t easy to find, but I’m so glad we did.  It was quiet and cool and had a slight bit of spookiness which I don’t think came through in the photos necessarily but was cool nonetheless.

And how about this crew?  I cannot believe it’s been 6 years since I photographed Mary and Frank on their wedding day back in 2013.  What a beautiful family they have created, don’t you think?
